The Allgöwer Fellowship

Experienced AO North America surgeons with demonstrated academic excellence are invited to apply for the Martin Allgöwer Trauma Fellowship.

This fellowship is granted annually and consists of a minimum 3-month and maximum 6-month stay at a European AO trauma center, with round trip travel and living expenses provided for the recipient and his/her spouse. The completed application should include the following:

  • Application form (available from AO North America)
  • Two letters of reference
  • A curriculum vitae
  • A statement from the applicant outlining the reasons he/she wishes to participate in the fellowship and giving his/her location preference.

    The deadline for 1999 applications is November 1, 1999.
