STEP 14/64 TO LIVE NONVIOLENTLY

14) Humility – Making mistakes is a part of learning and growing, simply an “error in approach.” Today, freely acknowledge at least one mistake you make and reflect for a couple of minutes on what you have learned.

“Never Again”, my mother would stoop over anytime she saw a penny on the ground, pick it up, she’d say that everytime, I never understood, now I do. It is so damn hard, all wound up, stand back, I’m about to be sprung, I’ll tell ya, this morning, I went out, immediately I’m thinking…, remember, nonviolently, glad I did, counted one to ten more than once today, the debacle in Washington DC yesterday, got us all on edge! Seriously, are they running some kind of psyops campaign on the once middle class, what I see looks more and more like an orchestrated take down of the economy, is this what’s considered a currency war, I’ll tell ya this, its got me on edge. Strange…, yesterday, dreaming, remembering back to , New York City, New Years Eve, “93″, almost getting into Time Square…, man I wanted to see so bad that ball drop, today, slap!!!, reality! I am so damn glad I found these 64 steps to live nonviolently, “But You Get What You Need”, (half a quote from the Stones) and damn I’ll tell ya, to get through these times today I needed them bad. I’ve got to say, I’m doing pretty good with this, it’s really keeping me in check, its just so dangerious out there, all around I’m seeing individual’s who become unglued. Like I said, now I do, now I pick up pennies too, the old copper pennies go into my special box, the new ones, I spend em, these days ya get out of em, about double what there really worth!
