When There’s Smoke

I’ve got a bad habbit of grabbing for the 5 gallon can of gas, no interest in finding any water, that is, me just speaking metaphorically. So i just thought I’d put it out, maybe later i’ll get back, today I’m feeling a little dry, possibly it’s these winds that got me just a bit parched, all night long they’ve howled. Ya know, i’m tired but i’m proud, ya see, last night, late, finley i figured how to get this spell check working, I’ll tell ya, me learning this android ain’t been pretty, finely i figured out how to kill that T9! OK, the news of the day…, well, yesterday, some idiot up in canyon country, extracting oil from cannabis, blew himself up, must have been some powerful shit he was working with, blew him back 10 feet, blew through a wall, guess he thought he really needed to light that cigarette, damn fool, when there’s smoke…, damn that nicotine monster’s a formadal foe! Cigarettes will kill ya, Kurt Vonnegut said in an interview he wanted to sue, here’s his quote: ”I am going to sue the Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company, manufacturers of Pall Mall cigarettes, for a billion bucks! So Dad was dead, Mom was sick, 30 men were pulled out from underground, the day of Dads memorial, 30 men getting their second chance at life. So sad seeing Mom so sick, sucking on an oxygen hose, she looked miserable, she looked hurt. So i thought…, brownies!, she always loved brownies, i wanted to have her happy one more time together with me in her life, i got to baking, Mom died of cancer Christmas Morning, 2010. Just so happen to have a little olive oil infused with hashish, my buddy George got involved, he’d stopped by, later on, we were planning on going out to eat. Don’t any of ya start thinking we were thinking wrong, Mom was up for anyyhing that might get her some relief, we wern’t dosing her, she knew! Well George got em real gooey, gave Mom a chunk, 10 or 15 minutes it took before
Mom began wanting to grin, man that was so nice seeing Mom smiling one last time, she’d been eating like a bird all the time i’d been back. George and i were heading out, Mom said she was just a little hungry too, asked if maybe we might bring her something back, something spicy if we could, we said we would. $60 bucks on Chinese food, we brought it all back, Mom was really flying around by then, straightening up her home, a pretty funny sight seeing her all tangled up by the vacume cleaner cord, and her oxygen hose, George tells her, sit down Sally, your stoned! I’ll never forget it, i’ll take this memory to my grave, George, my Mother and i, we’re all partying one last time, Mom munching on a shrimp roll, declaring it to be the best shrimp roll she’d ever had in her life, giggling she said she’s glad she waited, George’s barks back, shut up Sally…, YOUR STONED!!!
