Secure email

Head to Thunderbird home page and download and install Thunderbird. Then go to the GnuPG site and download and install GPG. Then go to Enigmail home site, download and install Enigmail. Then generate a key pair. Then get all your friends to do these things. Then all of you send your PUBLIC key to each other, via any channel you choose, and verify that the keys have not been tampered with. (Read off some randomly located characters from each other public key over the phone and check that they are the same is one way to do it.) Then import these keys into Enigmail.

Then all of you have a safer way to email.
