Mosier Brothers at Bob's Country Bunker

The Mosier Brothers (Atlanta, Georgia) perform at Bob's Country Bunker into the morning of August 20, 2010. Some of the best music at Fest is in the camp ground. The folks at the Bunker try to find some of the very best musicians to play their "private Party".

The Runaway Truck

VIDEO (.MP4): KingArthur.com catches the aftermath of a runaway truck in the camp ground at The Philadelphia Folk Festival in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. A truck parked in heavy camping rolled down the hill through the tents Thursday during the evening concert. A witness saw it running down the camping... it was for real surreal. People were freaking out. No one got hurt.

After the fact, folk festers in the line of destruction thanked God for Igloo coolers. If it were not for the cooler getting stuck under the truck, it is likely the unmanned vehicle would have plowed the whole way down to the Camp Stage. (See video .MP4)

Thank You

To all Skippack Lions Folk Fest Volunteers:

Well we made it through another year of the Skippack Lions Philly Folk Fest Charity Food Booth!

We wanted to thank each and every one of you for your volunteer efforts from Booth Set-Up/Tear Down to Hoagie Making to Working the Booth. A big THANK YOU---we can't do this without all of you great volunteers!

Remember, the funds we raise help many people in many ways from supporting the Visually Impaired, Diabetes Awareness, Beacon Lodge Camp for Visually Impaired Kids, Local College Scholarships and many more local, regional and world wide programs. By helping us, you help make a difference too!

We hope to see you next year!
