Hey Bands!

There are 4 steps your band can take to get mentioned in Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter:

1) Demo Reviews: To get your demo reviewed, please send 2 copies plus band information (contact name, address and phone number) to:

Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter
P.M.B. 449
580 Thames Street
Newport, RI 02840

All submissions become the property of Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter and will not be returned.

2) Band Guide: Create a 1-to-40 word self-description of your band for inclusion in Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter's "Band Guide."  (Be sure to tell us the home city under which you'd like to be listed -- I know you gig in several cities and hope to have fans worldwide, but just tell us where you live.) You can also mail that description to the above address, fax it to (208) 247-2170, or e-mail it to geoff@geoffwilbur.com (put "Band Guide Listing" is the subject of the e-mail), or you call call it in to publisher Geoff Wilbur at (401) 849-3972.

3) Music News: If your band has released a disc, changed band members, won a contest or honor, or played in a big show, call, write, or e-mail Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter for inclusion in the "Music News."  And be sure to tell us the home city under which to list your news.  (I know you gig in several cities -- choose one.  [See the discussion of this issue in item #2 above.])

4) Live Reviews: Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter has writers all over the country.  Invite a writer in your area out to your show to review your band.  To find the e-mail address of the writer nearest you, check out our latest Geographic Listing of Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter Writers and Their E-Mail Addresses.

Band Guide and Music News deadlines for the Summer 2001 Online Edition of Geoff Wilbur's Renegade Newsletter are June 30, 2001, though Band Guide descriptions and News items are accepted for future issues on an ongoing basis, so send them in now.
