Introduction

This webpage indexes the contents of a CDROM. Though the CDROM started out as a collection of multimedia "rushes" produced by The Philadelphia Spirit Experiment, it has grown into a much larger beast.

The collection has been assembled from pieces of the massive amounts of multimedia that have been made available on our websites.

The second part of this site is an Internet album. Similar to a record album, the multimedia pieces are put together in a conceptual way.

Here are some terms that might help explain the listings:

Rush is a term used in the movie industry to talk about a piece of raw film footage.

A still refers to a snapshot of a video frame or other .jpg and .gif files.

Picture size is the size of the viewer that will appear on your monitor.

File size and type tells you the computer file size in Megabytes (M) or kilobytes (k), as well as, the type of file (like .avi video file, .wav sound file, or .mov Quick Time file)

You may want to visit the multimedia crash test area for dummies prior to downloading multimedia files.
