A score and five years ago, thousands died in one of the worst industrial massacres in history. Today, the site is still a festering pool, the destitute victims ignored and left to their private pain. India shines indeed. The primary perpetrator, Union Carbide has been swallowed by Dow Chemical; neither company ever admitted responsibility. The men and women in charge of these corporate behemoths are murderers, and the governments of the USA and India are apologists for murderers. I see why some believe in a God, and in the existence of Hell, in the hope that justice denied in this world might be meted out in the next.

They must see mobs with pitchforks and torches on the horizon. Who woulda thunk that raping the poor might result in threats to the rapists person ?

The next time you fill up the car, remember who you are paying.
“It was another election in which the voters had a gun held to their heads – literally, in the case of one opposition official, who had a pistol applied to his temple to encourage him to sign off on rigged returns.”
“The electoral charade confirms another seven-year term for Obiang, whose government is rated by Human Rights Watch as ‘one of the most abusive and corrupt in the world.’ ”
“the president’s son and agriculture minister has transferred at least $73m (£44m)into America to pay for a $35m Malibu mansion and private jet.”
US oil giants ExxonMobil, Hess and Marathon are joined by Dutch giant Shell and Brazil’s Petrobras among the companies making millions along with the Obiang family.”
And some wonder why Western countries are so reviled in the Third World. We keep their bestial overlords in power, in exchange for the right to drive over their dreams.

Take a bunch of iffy second mortgages. Slice ‘em, dice ‘em, get your pals to rate them AAA. Sell ‘em to suckers, and run away. Nice job if you can get it.
“If you apply a 90% haircut, the losses work out to about 25% for the “super seniors,” and about 90% for A-2 and A-3.”
“Goldman and Moody’s declined to discuss this security.”
“Oops, sorry about that”
Why aren’t these scum in jail yet ? Could it be something to do with campaign contributions ? Naaa, that cant be it…

“The World Wide Web (known as “WWW’, “Web” or “W3″) is the universe of network-accessible information, the embodiment of human knowledge.”
The World Wide Web started as a network information project at CERN in 1989. CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, is one of the world’s largest and most respected centers for scientific research.
In 1993, Mosaic developed a graphical web browser. This was the turning point for the information super highway.
